Effective: August 10, 2026
Fakevidence is an educational and creative tool that demonstrates how easily screenshots can be fabricated. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Permitted purpose
You may use Fakevidence for education, research, interface prototyping, clearly fictional storytelling, satire and other lawful creative work. Generated images are mockups and must not be presented as authentic records or evidence.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the site or its output to:
- deceive, defraud, threaten, harass or harm anyone;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent their words or actions;
- fabricate evidence, reports, accusations, transactions or official communications;
- violate privacy, intellectual property, publicity or other rights;
- support unlawful activity or bypass a platform, employer, court or authority.
3. Your content
You retain responsibility for photos, names, text and other material you use. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to use that content and that it does not violate the law or another person's rights.
4. Local processing
The current generators process uploaded images and entered content inside your browser. Fakevidence does not intentionally receive or store that generator content. Your browser, device, network, hosting provider or third-party resources may still process technical data as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. No affiliation
Fakevidence is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta, Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp. Product names and interface references are used only to identify the style being demonstrated.
6. Availability and disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and may change, malfunction or become unavailable. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Fakevidence disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee that output is accurate, suitable or accepted for any purpose.
7. Responsibility and enforcement
You are responsible for your use of the site and its output. Access may be restricted when misuse, security risks or violations of these terms are identified. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means that the new terms apply from that point onward.
